I try to top myself everytime I do a new painting. I think I have. ~ 3 days. I'm failing my midterms and I'm here painting.
General notes: - A lot of the motivation came from my Astronomy class - I do have a version where he's wearing the classic domino white mask, but it's Halloween so I decided to give him something a little more eccentric; I also have a version where he's not working a mask at all - Played around a lot with textures. - Originally planned to have him hold the Earth (which is the most beautiful sphere in our solar system, if you ask me), but the sun was by far easier to create - I repainted his lips 4 times! I kept giving him feminine lips. In the end, I decided to merge all the version together. I still think it's off. I like the smirk he's almost giving, though. - I also shrink his eyes a couple of times when I decided to do semi-realism - The "cloak" around him was a complete accident. I was painting his tuxedo and cape. White gives much better contrast. - I like his earring

No, but my priority problems will explain why I'm
doing rather poorly in school. Perhaps I'll make a living by drawing on the streets.
